Focus on improving estate services

08 Sep 2020

Introducing Carlos Bonora who joined us last month as Estate Services Supervisor. This is a brand-new role which we have created in response to residents’ comments and feedback, which will enable us to deliver a range of improvements and a consistent level of service across the estates we serve in Tower Hamlets.

Carlos has been brought in to manage our team of over 20 colleagues in mainly concierge and caretaker positions who monitor, patrol and keep our buildings clean and tidy, provide a level of security and reassurance for residents, and help where needed, for example in cases of emergency. He brings not only significant estates management experience in both the residential and commercial sectors to the role, he also has a Bachelor in Science Degree in environmental management, along with a particular interest in waste management and recycling, which he hopes will help bring about further improvements to our estates.

We’re delighted to have appointed Carlos and he is looking forward to the challenge of his new role: “The scale of operation is considerable and I’m really keen to work together with residents and members of my team so that we can explore ways to solve issues that people who live on our estates tell us are important to them. I’ll be looking at ways to improve communication and reassure residents that we are here to listen and respond quickly.”

We’ll keep you informed of progress here on the website and in our e-newsletters, along with details of how you can get more involved and give your ideas and feedback. In the meantime, please do let us know if you have any comments by calling 0300 123 9966 or emailing us at
